Answer Reports enable the user to define reports that collate specific data points from across vendors' RFP responses.
RFP's developed in SupplierSelect support a hierarchical structure of sections and subsections. This structure should be driven by the needs of evaluators. Top level sections should map to top level evaluation issues - "Price", "Company Background" etc. Such as structure facilitates an accurate and meaningful assignment of weights to sections and questions.
However, when reporting, it is often useful to collate information that is dispersed across the RFP. It might be necessary to compare answers from questions 1.1.1, 1.3.5, 2.2.3 and 4.6.3 from all vendors. Answer Reports were developed to meet this need. Using an intuitive point-and-click interface, the user can select specific answer fields from different questions across the RFP.
Once an Answer Report has been defined, it can be cross tabulated, sorted by any column, and download as a spreadsheet
